What a beautiful person to have known and loved during my formative years. The 'Jacksons' were a big part of my family, surely one of my parents Rocky and Estelle Lamb closest friends. This true charm of a lady will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace!!

What a beautiful service for a wonderful Southern lady. Mark and I were young marrieds when we joined IOH Baptist Church and joined Betsy's Sunday School class over 35 years ago. She and Hugh became wonderful mentors and such an inspiration for us. You never saw Betsy when she didn't have a big smile on her face and so happy to see you. She made you feel special everytime you were with her. She was definitely an 'earth angel' for so many and will be missed. God bless the family and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To All of Mrs. Betsy's Family, Betsy was the woman with the gracious smile and the loving heart. She was one of my Mom's Sophia Barnes favorite friends. One of my fond memories was Betsy and Hugh leading us as young teens in a study on Baptist Fighters for Freedom. Betsy kept us while Mom birthed one of the younger syblings. Betsy and Hugh loved Isle of Hope Baptist Church. They also helped my Mom to get the first clothes dryer she ever had quite the blessing with six kids. Memories of Betsy's smiling encouragement and sincere interest in my successful growing up and developing as a Christian has guided and influenced my entire life. I am deeply grateful for having known Betsy. She was a genuine blessing and good Christian to all who knew her. May the peace of the Lord be with you as you learn to live life without her sweet presence. Blessings!!

Betsy was a very special part of my family's life. I am Marilyn Howard's daughter. I can remember visting her and Mr. Jackson on Isle of Hope. They both where very caring people and will both always have a special place in my heart. Hold onto the wonderful memories of them and know that they are once again together. I am so thankful to know that one day we will all be able to see them both again. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
